Listening to this episode and wondering if it might blow your mind to know that in northern Ontario (Canada), Chinese takeaway comes with buttered toast. When my parents moved us to southern Ontario and picked up Chinese food for supper they thought somebody made a mistake and were very upset that they had to make their own buttered toast to go with the supper.
