Hey folks, I have a friend who has a custom t-shirt screen printing business, he does a lot of rock band t-shirts, that sort of thing. He's offered me a reasonable deal for a minimum of 24 shirts, so I am writing this post now to gauge interest in a PCRP t-shirt. Plus this way, if there's enough interest, we could custom order the correct sizes. If you are interested, please reply (no obligation now, no money involved now)) and mention the size you'd like. Thanks! The shirts would be black with the current PCRP logo on it:

Hey folks, just a "look at me for a minute" post to say I am happy about a a couple of recent episodes of the Pollyanna Cowgirl Records Podcast. When Rich invited my show to be a part of the network, I started renumbering the shows from #1. One month ago I released show #100! And now this week comes show #104, or as I like to think about it, my 2-year anniversary on Simply Syndicated! I would like to thank Rich and Allison so much for their kindness and guidance over the past two years, it has been a source of joy and pride to belong to Simply Syndicated.

If you haven't listened lately, may I suggest you try the show again? My download numbers are nothing compared to other shows, and this surely must be put down to differing musical tastes. I know there are a lot of rock and metal fans on Simply Syndicated, and the truth is, so am I (I pretty much like anything of quality), but you also have to understand there is a limited amount of quality of those genres that I have found that is "podsafe". I try each week to come up with a decent show out of the swamp of shit that is available to podcasters! At the least, I think having a musical podcast in your mp3 player repertoire is valuable; there are times when you want something on in the background, but you still have to leave a bit of your conscious mind available to think!

Well, I do really enjoy putting the show together, and I really am fond of Simply Syndicated, so I'll end this post as I do each PCRP show: "Well, that just about does it for this week's show, thanks for listening everybody, I hope you found something you liked. Wherever you are, I wish you the best. Peace and Love!"

I know you don't get a lot of feedback because there isn't really a lot to talk about, but you do do (tee hee I said doo doo) an amazing job each week of creating a podcast that brings some excellent music that you actually like. In a world where the radio has gone down the toilet it is great that there are people like you still passionate about the music they play.

May there be 100 more.

Tony,
A couple of years ago Jennifer Knapp released an album called Letting Go on Graylin Records. She is the latest in what's becoming a list of Contemporary Christian or Country (red-state music genre) artists who've had to start their careers over from scratch after coming out. In some genre, honesty about sexual orientation would be celebrated, but not in those.

Ray Boltz and Chely Wright are two others off the top of my head.
I'm liking this new Knapp record, and she refers to the transition in her career a bit in songs like "Dive In."

There's a suggestion from me, to get this particular thread up and running,
GAB
