"AGUERO!!! ... ... ... Staggering! ... Just staggering! ... He's won the league with 90 seconds of stoppage time remaining in the season! ... It's just the most extraordinary scenario of football you could've
dreamt up!"

No sporting competition I know of has ever had a final day, a final match, a final 5 minutes, more epic, more dramatic, and more unbelievable than the English Premier League of 2011-2012. No group of fans can ever have had their fortunes turn so suddenly and so dramatically as the City fans had - and I say that as someone who's followed the Red Devils for 30 years and can play the last minutes of the 1999 Champions League Final in my head at will).

Simply astounding.

Add another to your list of future episodes of The Greatest Events In Sporting History.

Sporting comebacks are probably the distant cousin of sporting shocks and sporting upsets. All are things that make you stop what you're doing in and watch the event unfold, and they often tend to transcend their field. A good comeback tends to be remembered for years afterwards and have documentaries made about them.

Are there any occasions that we omitted to mention in the episode?
