    • I knew that answer you guys didn't.  Because you're idiots.
    • That last episode rocked/sucked
    • Omar is the sexy one, his Mexican accent makes me purr like a kitten.

Okay....just lately, Omar has sounded (at least to me) as though he really doesn't want to be there. When I first started listening, he seemed much more upbeat and happier. Do you think your constant jibes about banana's has really deflated him, maybe?

Really? He's always sounded dolorous to me. I assumed that was just his default vocal setting.
  • Haha again I thought that was his default.  So you feel he's actually different than the beginning?  It may be... we'll try to slip something in his banana smoothie to make him a little more upbeat.

It should be noted though that Omar seems to be consistently the favorite among anyone I talk to.

It's only when Jason activates the "Intestinator" to assert his rule.

I got the Tau Empire reference. I play Warhammer fantasy (Skaven) and recently I started on 40K. I've already read novels and saw the Ultramarines movie. So yeah, I know about the 40K version of the Vulcans :-)
  • Is..... is that even English?  :D

Yeah, Omar's been in a much better mood since we helped him pay off the cocaine lords.

"That thing we talk about.  Is sorted."
  • I didn't think Omar ever sounded like he wanted to be there. That's his charm.

I have an idea what Omar is up to.

  • I decided to check out Portlandia and overall I guess I was just really overwhelmed.  Maybe it was because you guys mentioned a lot of the skits before hand but I really wasn't findingm much of it funny and I think Jason's comment that you have to be college educated and Be older than 25 to be giving the humor on Portlandia far too much credit.

  • I love this show, and as for Omar, I think he's just been grumpy since I accidentally sent him that love letter addressed to Kevin. Mia Culpa brah.
  • I saw a couple episodes of the Portlandia.... not really my cup of tea.  I can only take so much buttock clenching.  I do however love the Flight of the Conchords, but I'm like, 4 years late on that party. :D

Not So FunFact: The topless photo of Mila Kunis mentioned in episode 69, was photoshopped according to Forgetting Sarah Marshal's trivia page at imdb.

Oh, and Kevin was right, the Triceratops is from the Cretaceous period. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triceratops

    Love the show BTW

If you go to the shows page and scroll down to the federation shows you can click on the ATW9K logo and that will take you to the newest episodes but you can keep clicking the older post button at the bottom and download older episodes.

Just listened to the Star Wars show. Great stuff as always. Just have to correct Kevin about Dave "Vader" Prowse . He is actually from my part of England, Bristol, in the south west. He is also famous for his pre-Vader role as the super hero, The Green Cross Code Man! Check this out :)

And they over dubbed his voice again!

IT IS A PERIOD OF ATOMIC WAR....

OK I do take it back!  Beautiful Bristol it is.  He did a great voiceover bumper thingie for our good friends at Here Goes Nothing and sounds proper... something... I don't know is it Geordie?  My ignorance betrays me.  Need a HGN member to post the bumper.

Omar dissed on Mon Mothma. I'm not going to let that slide.

I got really happy with the Biggs and Wedge Final Fantasy question.

I think it's West Country accent/Bristolian if you're from Bristol but I don't know either.

    Geordie - Newcastle

West country?  OK that's probably it.  Must find that clip.  Maybe it's Welsh I'm thinking it sounds like.

Copy & paste the YouTube link and then click on "Remove Hyperlink". It's the icon next to the smiley.

OH that's an interesting link!  The one I was specifically refering to was the Here Goes Nothing bumper they got Prowse to record, but obviously he's hamming it up for the recording, he sounds way more boyo-welsh when he drops a "Tearr this ship apart, oi woint them a-loive!"

    KevKevKev,

Hope all is well with you. I recently caught up with show 74, and I have two words for you: bloody ejaculation.

Perhaps one of the most frightening moments of my life. The doctor didn't mention it, but he used the word "normal" (if not typical) when I called him.
Something about the process of using a petri-dish for post-operative testing made me more aware of "how things were looking" though.

    Bloody ejaculation ... bloody hell!
It's normal, though, for a short time.

Uh wow.  Yes that would be somewhat alarming.  I was given a Simpsons-esque pamphlet along the lines of "So You're Having A Vasectomy" explaining what would happen and EVERY possible thing that might happen afterwards.  Your predicament was in there.  Happy to say it isn't mine.

When I had mine done (some time ago now), I got was given an Xbox and 4 days of playing it uninterrupted on a bean bag with ice packs.

I hope you are being treated with similar rewards.

4 days!  Nice!  Had mine on a Tuesday.  Back to work on Thursday.  But I had a couple days of chilling with the laptop, watching episodes of Murphy's Law... and I even managed a podcast on the afternoon of the procedure.  Upcoming Micheal Mould's Midnight Doda thingie.
