Great episode. There was one of those perspective vs. time changing episodes in The Next Generation. It was the episode where they ran into the probe and Picard gets hit by the beam and lives the entire life of someone from a dead civilization over the course of 20 minutes or so (more or less real time of the episode, but to him it seems a lifetime). This was the episode where he gets the flute that becomes a recurring prop throughout the rest of the series.
