Jay grew up in Brooklyn playing stickball and jacks with Biggie Smalls, inspiring him to later write the song “Big Booty Hos.”
After graduating last in his class at Clown College, Jay started working in radio where his comedic creativity began to take flight. It was here he perfected the art of writing wacky website bios, playing laser beam noises and toilet flushing sound effects in 35 second chunks during “Two-fer Tuesdays” and huge rock blocks of Aerosmith, Foreigner, and Skynyrd.
Like Al Gore, he also claims to have invented podcasting, although it surprisingly didn’t catch on then, when he aptly named it “putting radio show mp3s online.” Today, Jay laments most things he comes in contact with, the few exceptions being his wife and daughter, his haircut, and air.
