The question of ‘Who is Troy’ is asked infrequently at best by those without the good sense to avoid it. The answer is usually presented in the form of a long and rambling tale with increasingly unlikely scenarios presented as fact, each retelling of his origins embellished ever further. The information presented here is entirely factual.
Troy originates from Hamilton, New Zealand. It was rumoured that he was hatched rather than born, as few witnesses have been willing to step forward concerning the facts of his arrival into this world – indeed, two separate times of birth are provided on hospital records, giving credence to this conspiracy of silence. As a child he craved entertainment beyond milking cows and chasing chickens, turning instead to books and computer games.
Ostracised from his countrymen for his apparent lack of interest in the Rugby World Cup (except when the All Blacks were playing the French) Troy fled to England where he lives to this day. His interests remain varied and questionable: console and PC games, a wide number of roleplaying systems and the occasional tipple number amongst his favourite ways to pass the time. Favourites include first-person shooters, RPGs and world-building games.
