We talk to Mr. Lloyd about the impact of the film and how the film is still going strong. Plus we chat about everything from his first movie, cartoon voices, theater, and yelling.

Stephen Tobolowsky may be best known as Ned Ryerson from Groundhog Day, but you may also know him from any of his nearly 200 acting roles in TV and film, including the current hit show Glee, Heroes, Deadwood, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, no less than 2 iterations of CSI, Thelma & Louise, Spaceballs, Sneakers or Basic Instinct, to name a few.  He’s in 9 movies coming out this year, has his own documentary of himself telling stories from his life & his career called Stephen Tobolowsky’s Birthday Party available on Amazon and at STBPmovie.com, and recently launched a podcast of similiar ilk with the guys from SlashFilm.com called The Tobolowsky Files.  We chatted with the only real actor Jay has ever kind of, sort of directed, in our Groundhog Day Lost Radio Tapes.  He’s a hell of a guy.  Enjoy.

Hey gang, I’ll be doing my live webcam broadcast from the DJ booth this Friday night/ Saturday morning starting at 11:30 pm EST (4:30 am GMT).  Thanks to Weathereye for the winning show name.  For the uninitiated, I basically turn on my webcam as I DJ all night long from a crowded college bar as myself and usually my DJing partner in crime, Ari, talk smack about anything and everything,  ignore our job duties, drink, chat with you all, interview and make fun of drunk people and force them to do dumb things on the webcam in exchange for requests.  It’s an anti-show night-out for shut-ins, Live on the web.  What else are you going to do, sleep?  See you on the Live Page.

PUNXSUTAWNEY, PA – A number of years ago, a Groundhog Day radio broadcast from the Masters of None Morning Show at 92.2 WPNX was lost for what seemed like forever. Then miraculously, the raw cassette tape audio footage of the air check was found in the abandoned Punxsutawney Broadcasting Building in early 2010 by a demolition crew.

The footage  is being released exclusively now and here as an .mp3 file podcast in time for Groundhog Day on Tuesday, February 2^nd.  It contains the entire radio show that we have all heard WPBH weatherman Phil Connors wake up to that fateful morning.  Also included in this audio is live exclusive coverage from the pursuit of the now infamous Punxsutawney Phil groundhog-napping, a special guest appearance by Ned Ryerson himself (actor Stephen Tobolowsky reprising his role) an appearance by Mark Hing of WolfGnards.com (author of “How Long Does Bill Murray Spend in Groundhog Day?”), a special review of Heidi 2 with Nerd Hurdles podcast host, Jakob Rehlinger and the help of voice talent Libby Kay.

“We are thrilled that such an historic piece of our heritage and holiday was recovered,” said Punxsutawney mayor, Buster Doyle.  “It will be a great honor to share such a momentous occasion with fans of this great day from around the world.”
