Hiya,
I have been listening to your show, for over a year, often from South Africa, and it def gets my attention.
I do feel a bit sorry for you, so, am a show supporter.
I have a tech question, which may require some research, so, am willing to donate something, if u can solve it.
Its a bit odd, but, bear with me .. and excuse my lack of ignorance, if what I am asking, is technically impossible.
I often attend sports events, with handicapped people, and the spots we normally get seated, do not have access to tvs, or, are so far away, that they cannot be viewed easily. I want to help the people I bring to enjoy the event, so it would help if I could display the feed, on either Ipads or another device, I could attach to a wheelchair etc.
I have tried a few things :
I got an Eye Tv device for the Ipad, which picks up free-to-air Tv, but doesn’t get the CCTV, presumably as its not broadcast – maybe this
is an answer, but, presume getting the CCTV transmitted, would require a transmitter, which wouldn’t be cheap, and is probably overkill.
I can get really long aerial cables, and connect to the feed, but, this then leaves cables all over the floor, which is a bit dangerous.
So, can u think of anything else I can do ? The events are normally cricket, and there is a small screen tv/display, (if that typically gives off a
signal), but, is again, a bit small, for the people to watch replays etc.
Anyway, in summary, I want to get a portable/self contained device, which if poss, I could attach to a wheelchair, to display the CCTV content.
Do u think this is possible ?
